I don't know . I don't really like apple products . I don't think my family has had a HP computer but we have a Dell right now and it is great .

Generally Dells are considered some of the best when it comes to personal computing. Don't know if HP is considered best for anything, know that their computers are considered pretty good. Apple computers are just design computers and generally are less functional in office setting in terms of functionality (Something that is quickly being rectified now, but even now, I don't like the things as now they're trying too hard and before, it didn't really fit what I needed it to do).

I voted Apple, and seriously have no idea why, tbh I'm not a big fan of Apple, not including the Ipod. But I do tend to hate Apple products such as the iPhone and the Mac. No particular reason. The family computer is a Dell and generally works pretty good, few things don't work AS good, but it works great nonetheless. Have no idea about HD. Couldn't comment.

Definitely agreed there. I took it as they were talking about laptops, for some strange reason so I voted Dell in that regards.

Devin: True that. Though Alienware just seems expensive as all hell these days compared to other ones. But not going to go into that.

But yeah, Apple's are great and all, but it's limited in it's actual functionality (Just in my opinion), saw the fitting image of the Apple being a single knife, but very glamorous, and the PC being a swiss army knife of things.

Wish there were more choices, but I'll stand by my original decision of Dell.

Dell. Alienware computers is one of those better prebuilt computers. But they're pretty damn expensive. If you want a gaming computer you would probably think about building your own/

Having seen Apple flop around on the computer market for the past few decades has been thoroughly amusing. Amazing that it took them this long to finally make a computer that doesn't think crashing is a desirable feature. Switching off their old default processor helped them a bit, but I don't ever see them being able to beat the PC market. Don't get me wrong, it's not like bill gates needs defending, I just find him to be the lesser of two evils. I find it hilarious that for all the "uniqueness" and "originality" that Apple tries to throw on the table, all of their products look exactly the same.

Dell, words cannot describe the evil that company produces. I do tech support for a living and whenever I get a Dell I die a little more inside. The company tries to push these machines out as if they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Granted, they are the easiest to reset and wipe clean, but that shouldn't be a positive feature. These things quickly become over priced paperweights in no time.

HP, you could do worse. Not exactly THE computer company I would trust, but they beat the hell out of gateway (yes they still exist) and they make Dell look like the third rate pile of dog crap that they are.

If you want a good computer, custom build is the only way. Don't fall for that shiny Alienware bullshit, especially since Dell owns them too now. Every person I know who has bought an Alienware, has left it for dead in a pile of scrap within two years.

In the end, I doubt most of you even know what I am babbling about, which I guess is good. Just keep in mind that every computer company can and will screw you in one manner or another.
