hi does anyone know of a good site were i can download songs to then put onto itunes ?And that doesn't give you viruses ? And i have had limewire and it broke my last computer so please don't suggest that ! And free to download !

limewire shouldnt give you viruses from songs. i prefer frostwire or torrents though. nothing is 100% free and safe

I use Limewire, and you just import the "Saved" folder into your iTunes.
Simple as.

limewire itself is clean. its what you download that contains the viruses. just stick to music. dont try to download programs with it and you should be fine. also use common sense. if your looking for a 4min song and you see one thats only a few kilobytes its probly a virus. a 4min song should be around 3.5mb.

Bearshare is just as safe (or unsafe) as anything else. It's a peer-peer, just like Limewire.

installing programs on a laptop is very easy. my grandma knows how to do that. not sure what you mean by "programming" unless you wrote an entire OS for your friend.

as for your getting a passing grade in school, good for you! giving teachers what they want is completely different than truly understanding. honestly if you were as intelligent as you claim you would not have gotten a virus from limewire. you obviously know very little if anything about how viruses work and stupidly downloaded a file that clearly wasn't a song. now go "program" yourself and idiot proof computer for yourself before you break something else

right. all p2p programs are equally unsafe. with common sense and knowing pretty much what i'v said already you should be fine. dont be afraid of limewire.

Try Frostwire, the new version of Limewire, I just got it and its fast and doesnt have as much junk as Limewire. Limewire shouldnt fudge up your computer if you download the right songs/videos etc. Have a good anti virus system, I have AVG, and I have Limewire and Frostwire and havnt had any problems with them.

Frankenfish: well it "fudged up" when i downloaded 2 songs and i then put the songs into a folder and was about to put them into my itunes and my laptop froze and it keeps crashing.
