When I remember the "Are you afraid of dying" thread, people keep saying that they are not afraid of dying. But I think it depends of the WAY they are gana die, like a quick and painless death, like I said in that thread.
So I thought "what would people say in this particular death" and it came to me.
Ok are you afraid of dying in a PAINFUL and HORRIBLE death, like I don't know, for example: Drowning, Suffocating, getting stabbed multiple times, getting burned or skinned alive, or something like that.

I would of course be afraid because of the pain.
What about you?

I think ultimately, yes, I would be afraid of a painful death, but I feel that if there is such a situation that my painful death is to the benefit of others (friends, brothers in arms), then I would take that death any day. In my opinion, some things are worth being tortured for.

idk good question. i gotta say that death is death to me. I've got hemophobia and i'm only scared of really fast moving things like a fast moving face. Like really fast. But i'm not scared of death, no matter if it's painful or not. But i would hate to die painfully *shudders*

Simple. No. Why you ask? Because dying with or without pain, your still dying. No matter how you want your death, its coming for you, so I just expect to die. Not how I die. I'm not afraid of what kind of death mine will be. If I were, I would have to live in fear my whole life.I didn't vote on the poll because none of the choices fit my answer.

Part of it is how you will die and how painful it will be.

Part of it is asking yourself where will you go once you die.

I could go into this nice little discussion about how heaven and hell don't exist and how it's all in what your religion is, but I won't because I've already done so on two forum treads already.

when i think of death i do not fear it, i do not look forward too it, but i don't fear it.

it just give me more reason to live my life to it's fullest!

i see it like this:

every moment is sprinting, at light speed away from you, it will never come back.
but doesn't that give you evry more reason to live that moment to best you can while you have it?

Unlike the rest of you, I have a problem with willingly leaving this earthly realm. Instead of just laying down and saying "k imma gonna die nao" I'm going to try my best to fight it. Wether it be medicine, excersise, or just will-power I am going to do my best to prolong my death

Eat healthy, exercise every day, take vitamins, get hit by a truck. No fun. Live life, be true to yourself, and don't fear the inevitable. Doesn't mean it has to be painful though.

Regardless, it practically defies more common wording sense for something that's endlessly easier to understand.
