I believe that everyone is afraid of dying a painful death. Most people have this vision of them dying in their sleep. After watching Final Destination 3, I really started to think about how I would die. Even though they were being killed by some stupid force it really gets you thinking about how bad your death can actually be.

I'm not afraid of the ones you listed accept the skinning. The rest would finish you pretty quick... even the fire cuz it would eventually burn off your nerves and then be pain free. Death happens to everybody, anyway, so what's the point in living life scared?

I'm kind of in the middle. I'm not scared of dying with pain involved. I'm scared of dying of extreme pain. Of course, I think we all would want to go painlessly.

people say that mostly because they've never really experienced an almost death situation... when you got like a few seconds left, that's when you show your true opinion...

well... I don't know how I would react if I was about to die... I usually do whatever i have to do like if i don't care what would happen (for exemple, I drive like a crazy dude.... lol)... so I think I wouldn't be really affraid....

but then comes the pain thing.... and that depends. I don't think pain itself is that unbearable (whatever ammount of pain it is)... but to burn to death seems quite terrifying. Other forms of death that involves mutilation or anyway that destroys your physical image are terrifying too (did you ever tried to imagine yourself inside your coffin without your head or with your legs beside your head or even not having some meaty cream inside there? with your parents/wife/whoeveryoucare crying desperately by 'your' side...?) but that's not exactly about pain....


other than that, i think i wouldn't be afraid of a painful death.... although a horrible death kind of scares me.... and drowning doesn't seem bad at all... it's totally painless lol

Yeah! This is right. All the people live for certain ages and they die. We don't know whether they will go to heaven or hell. It is a really painful death. But we would not know whether where we go and when we'll die.
