Mhm. They immulsion miners who began mutating. Instead of the government revealing how dangerous the stuff was, they sent the mutants to the lab you see in one of the games. They're the Sires. The things that bust out of those tanks. Some scientists and a large amount of the scientists were sent to a mountain base where they dissappeared. The locusts are the decendants of thos scientists and the sires. Myrrah is actually human. The last Human decendant of the scientists. She proclaimed herself thier leader. She hates humans because they basically cast the sires that helped create away like they were a plague.

As for the Locusts, well, over a hundred years prior to emergence day, they were humans.

There are five books actually. One focuses on Marcus in the slab. The others are based between the games. They just kinda explain how everything got to how it was when the next game starts. They also do flashes into before the Locusts came. Also. . . Her name is Anya, not tonia. . . Bad. Bad you. No. It's not blantantly stated in the book about thier relationship, but it's assumed that they do after everything. Nor is the Locusts orgin blatantly stated, it's heavily hinted at if you pay attention.

Lamesome? Lawesome? But gears is so very amazing. Incredible books too. The comcics aren't my favorite though. I don't care for the art style and the story in them could use improvement.

LOL oh I see :D. No it is fine. Even when I have money I stress about it. I could never be a waitress I am just not very good with small talk. That being said I probably would not be making better tips lol I am kind of shy until I get to know people.
