My favourite heavy metal band would have to be KoRn. Although Nu-metal, some of their stuff is pretty heavy.

Well, only one heavy Metal band has been mentioned here at all. And that band is Slayer. Most of you also confuse Nu-metal, Hard Rock, and metalcore/other ... core as metal at all.

Again, the only band to be listed after my last comment is Slayer. Why is this? I just let you know that the other bands arent Heavy Metal, and you continue to list them?
Whats wrong with the true heavy metal bands, such as Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, and even KISS? (All heavy metal, but classified as other genre's also.)
