In my personal opinion, my favorite would be John Williams; he has worked on many movies series that have become part of popular culture, in many genres, and the musical works that he has composed for movies like Star Wars, Jaws, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park; in each movie, the music is very fitting to the moment they assigned it and the soundtracks of each of those movies holds proof of his work.
