Well you could try to Defrag it or Clean the disk. You can do this by going to the start menu, all programs, accessories, system tools, then defragmentor or disk cleanup. It should clean up and organize files.

i use disk clean once every few days defrag atleast once a month and system restore if it gets slow enough
