This thread is still alive? Yeesh. Well my views on music has matured more. I still would take rock over rap. But most of the stuff from either genre of today is usually garbage. I do acknowledge that there is good rap and rock. But all of the "musicians" today rob from the true musicians. But that is another argument. So I'm just going with jazz or classical
rock...i mean i listen to older rap not the new stuff cuz its not real anymore its just guys that are rappin about what everyone else wants to hear instead of what they want and say fuck off if you dont like it you know? i mean i like some new stuff but yea
Why choose? There are some great Rap/Rock mashups online that have the best of both genres'. People banging on cans? Yep heard that too.... A group called STOMP! been going for maybe 10 yrs + now world wide... worth listening to..... Keep smilin'
