I'm going to Singapore in a couple of months and I was wondering if anyone has been there or lives there and could give me some first hand description of what the country is like. I have a few travel guides and have done some research so please don't waste my time by posting facts off the top of Wikipedia. Thank you
Follow the rules? No matter how nice it may seem, you must remember that the government in Singapore is totalitarian. It's not unusual to have someone 'disappear'. Other than that, its just like a regular modern city, except with corporal punishment. Nice town, from the sound of it.
